Started reading Radio Fifth Grade by Gordon Korman
I will be reading aloud to students, each student has a copy of the book.
As we go through the chapters I will assigning comprehension and opinion question, and with each chapter there will be vocabulary enrichment words. The students have to write down the sentence in which the word is used and without looking at the dictionary decide what the word means. We will look at the formal definition the following days.
Following I have included a picture of the cover of the book. Questions, students are to only complete question 1 and 2 as they refer to the first chapter. Vocabulary enrichment words for Chapter 1.
If you have a chance please discuss the words with your children and see if their definition is correct.
